Power and signalling cable for mobile connections, designed for high mechanical stresses (tensile strength and torsion), for very
heavy duty conditions, such as vertical tensile strength and high reeling speed (180 m/’). The cable is typically used in winding drums for harbour cranes, container cranes, conveyors, handling machines, and mining & tunnelling equipment. For the stresses evaluation all the involved parameters must be taken into consideration: speed, reeling and unreeling time (with the relevant acceleration), minimum bending radius, torsion stress.
